Actor Hrithik Roshan and sister Sunaina are hosting a birthday bash for father Rakesh Roshan as he turned 64 today.
The party will be held at Blue Sea in Worli from 9 pm onwards.
Earlier, a 'havan' was held this morning at home which was attended by family members. The filmmaker, who is currently gearing up for his next release "Krishh 3", however has no clue about the celebration details.
"For the past few months I have only been going to work and coming back home. I have been focusing on the post production work of 'Krrish 3'. So I have no idea about the party or the guest list. Hrithik and Sunaina have also told me, 'Papa, please don't ask anything," he said.
"Such parties are nice because you get to meet all your old friends and associates. When your children are doing it out of love, you can't say no. We do something or the other every year, but this time, there are so many things to celebrate," Rakesh added.
Rakesh started his career as an actor with "Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani" (1970). He has acted in over 60 films from 1970s to early 1990s. Later he ventured into production and set up his own company Filmkraft in 1980 and eventually turned director. He has a penchant for film titles beginning with the letter 'K'.
His next directorial venture is the much anticipated sci-fi movie 'Krrish 3' starring Hrithik, Vivek Oberoi, Kangana Ranuat and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.
