Quoting Aishwarya Choubey's complaint, police said Khan allegedly sent her his objectionable photo, which she later deleted.
She has claimed that Khan sent her vulgar messages on a popular messaging platform.
Choubey had approached Versova police yesterday and today submitted her complaint, following which an FIR was registered against the actor.
In her letter, the starlet said this was not a publicity stunt and that she was lodging the complaint to "expose" Khan.
Police have summoned Khan who has not been arrested so far.
