Fire at ITL Tower in Pitampura

A fire broke out this afternoon on the 7th floor of ITL tower in North west Delhi' Netaji Subhash place area here in which no one was reported to be injured.
"We received a call of fire at 7th floor of ITL Tower at Netaji Subhash Place in Pitampura at 1.55 pm and immediately 26 fire tenders were rushed to control the fire. It was brought under control at 3.30 pm", said a Fire department official said .
The fire was suspected to be caused by short circuit in air-conditoning unit at an office space on the 7th floor of the commercial building, he said.

"The exact cause of the fire was not known but it was believed to have started from air condition unit. The occupants of the building were evacuated," he added.
No casualty or injury reported so far, official said.
