The incident took place around 4 PM when Prasun, along with her 13-year-old son Utkarsh, was watching a serial on the television set.
"When mother and son were watching the tv set, it suddenly exploded and the room was filled with smoke. Later, fire engulfed entire house," the official said.
As the fire engulfed the house, Prasun and Utkarsh rushed out of their house. They called fire department, which sent a fire tender to the spot.
