were reduced to ashes after an electric wire triggered the inferno in Ramgarh district.
According to sub-divisional magistrate Dineshwar Mahto, an overhead electric wire fell on one shop, sparking off fire in the shops laid out on the footpath at Subhas Chowk.
At least fifteen other cracker shops in the lane escaped the fire, he said, adding there was no casualty.
