Fire in Kolkata building, no casualty

A fire broke out at a three- storey building in the eastern part of the city today.
There was no casualty as the residents of the building could be evacuated, a fire department officer said.
Eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was extinguished within 45 minutes.
The cause of the fire was not known, the officer said.
The building is located on Gas Street in Raja Bazar area and the fire was reported at around 4.30 PM.
