Firefox Bikes, Road Ministry organise road safety cyclothon

Leisure biking company Firefox Bikes in association with Ministry of Road Transport and Delhi Police today organised a cyclothon to pass on the message of road safety and importance of using cycle reflectors.
"In an initiative to create awareness about road safety and to highlight the importance of using cycle reflectors, ...Firefox Bikes supported the Road Safety Cyclothon with International Road Federation and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in association with Delhi Police," it said in a release.
Over hundreds of environment cautious riders participated in the Cyclothon here, which was flagged off by Olympian wrestler Sushil Kumar.
Road accident deaths in India number the highest in the world. Many of these deaths are attributable to poor road visibility of cyclists.

"We aim to support this campaign for the importance of using cycle reflectors on bicycles, as it will help to make bicycles a safer mode of transportation on various busy roads, particularly during late hours," Shiv Inder Singh, Managing Director, Firefox Bikes said in the statement.
Road Safety Cyclothon was organised to inculcate awareness about positive effects of cycling as a mode of transport and benefits and to save the environment from pollution.

RIL group rubber biz sets up customer support in Vadodara * The synthetic rubber business entity of RIL group, Relflex Elastomers, today inaugurated a customer support centre at its petrochemicals complex in Vadodara.

"Relflex Elastomers - Synthetic Rubber Business Group of Reliance Industries Limited, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Elastomers Customer Support Center at its Petrochemicals Complex in Vadodara," the company said in a release.
The customer support centre seeks to provide intangible technical support to its customers and play a catalytic role in helping them grow their business, increase value additions and reduce import dependence, it added.
The facility will service tyre as well non tyre industry.
