The generic drugs and surgical appliances outlet christened 'Aarogya Medical Store' of the Red Cross Society at Dhakkan Wala Kua here was formally inaugurated by Mayor Malini Gaud.
Collector Akash Tripathi, who was also present on the occasion, said the Red Cross Society plans to open 25 more such stores in next two months and of these, 20 stores would be opened in urban areas and remaining in rural areas.
The store would sell generic drugs and surgical appliances at 75 per cent and 60 per cent cheaper than their market price respectively as well as give 20 per cent discount on purchase of drugs.
