Five arrested with guns, ammunition

Five persons were arrested and arms and ammunitions were seized from them at Palsit in Burdwan district, the police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, the police stopped a car at Palsit toll plaza and arrested five persons who were carrying one 9 mm pistol with four bullets, 2 pipeguns to Kolkata last night, Superintendent of Police SMH Mirza said.
They are residents of Komorpur in Durgapur.
