Five dead, 30 injured in bus mishap

Five bus passengers were killed and at least 30 others injured, 12 of them seriously, when a bus fell into a ditch in West Bengal's Midnapore district today.
The driver of the Cuttack-bound bus lost control over the vehicle and the vehicle fell into a roadside ditch at Madpurghat near Kharagpur on National Highway 6.
Five persons died on the spot while 30 others were injured in the accident including the driver.
The injured were admitted to the Midnapore Medical College Hospital.
All passengers of the bus hailed from Odisha.
