Five drown after falling into pit

Five persons including four children drowned after they fell into a pit near Kruchedu village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh today, police said.
The pit at Gangadonkonda was dug up recently and filled with rain water, they said.
The deceased--all cattle gazers--included two girls, two boys and a woman.
They went to the pit after seeing some of the cattle slipping into it, police said, adding they fell while trying to save each other.
Their bodies were fished out, police said.
