Five hurt in bomb blast

Two Assam Rifles jawans and three civilians were injured in a bomb blast at the front of the 40 Assam Rifles at Lilong area in Thoubal district this evening, police said.
The bomb was planted by militants targetting the security personnel, they said, adding that the injured Assam Rifles personnel were rushed to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences hospital for treatment.
