Bhavna Chauhan (13) and her cousins Lalo Chauhan (8) and Jago Chauhan drowned while bathing in a pond near their house in Tankara town of Morbi district.
"Locals tried to save them and rushed them to the government hospital where they were declared dead," said a police officer.
Two men drowned in river near Jalasan village in Kalavad tehsil of Jamnagar district.
The deceased were identified as Paresh Makwana (20) and Sanjay Makwana (25). A third man who was also drowning was saved by locals, police sub inspector A D Vala said.
