At least five people, including a child, were killed in separate incidents in Pakistan's port city Karachi due to heavy rains.
A man in Metroville died as a wall collapsed on him.
In a similar incident in Naval colony here, a woman and two children were injured. Later, the woman and a child succumbed to their injuries in a local hospital, Dawn news reported.
In Karachi's Buffer Zone area, two people died of electrocution.
As rains battered Karachi, several areas of the city faced power outages. Many areas were flooded and multiple signboards were uprooted by strong winds.
The Meteorological department has predicted a continuing spell of rain, the report said.
