Five killed in car-lorry collision

Five persons, including three members of a family, were killed and a baby girl was injured after the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry in Nalgonda district of Telangana in the early hours today, police said.
The incident occurred near Wadapally of Nalgonda district between 1.30 AM and 1.45 AM when the lorry was being driven on the wrong-side of the road resulting in the death of five occupants of the car on spot and leaving the baby girl injured, Wadapally Sub-Inspector Janaiah said.
A hunt has been launched to nab the absconding lorry-driver, the SI said.
A case was registered and probe is on.
