Five persons killed in road accident

The mishap occured on Bodhgaya-Rajgir road late last night as a car, a dumper and a motorcycle rammed into each other, the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shafiul Haque said.

Four occupants of the car and a biker were killed in the incident, he said.

The deceased persons were identified as Virendra Kumar alias Matlu Singh, Gauri Singh, Manoj Kumar and Umesh Singh (all occupants of scorpio car) and the biker Bittu, Haque said.

All three vehicles have been seized, the ASP said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, he said.
