Five suspected drug peddlers, including two women, were arrested on Thursday and nearly 30 gm of heroin, Rs 65,000 cash, eight mobile phones, one weighing machine and three ATM cards were seized from them, police said.
The Special Narcotic Cell of the district made the drug bust near the Gurdwara Road area here and charged the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Superintendent of Police Santosh Patial told PTI.
The accused have been identified as Aman Verma (20) of Kangra district, Ajay Kumar (31), his wife Roby (29), and Amit (20) of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, and Babita (37), alias Shabu, of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
The case was registered at the Dharamshala police station, Patial said.
