The event was a prelude to this year's SBI Calicut Mini-Marathon in association with the Kerala Network Police and Angel Foundation and the theme is 'Road Safety'- a paramount public health issue that needs to be taken seriously, a press release from IIM-K said.
The high energy flash mob surprised the evening crowd with a group of students from IIM-K huddled together for the performance at the beach. They then went on to perform at the Focus Mall as well. A mock drill was also carried out by a team of medical emergency experts from Angel Foundation in support of the 'Road Safety' cause being promoted by the SBI Calicut Marathon.
'Flash Mob' means a large public gathering at which people perform an unusual or seemingly random act and then disperse, typically organized by means of the Internet or social media.
