The flood water inundated Mahadevpur-I, Mahadevpur-IV and Kakoni villages besides submerging paddy fields in Namsai district, an official report said today.
Besides, five bamboo spurs out of 14 constructed on May 10 were washed away by flood water at New Silatoo threatening the Mahadevpur town.
Water Resources Development (WRD) officials are constantly monitoring the situation.
The embankment and spur at Nampong in Piyong circle are also badly affected by the flood water of the river, the report said.
