According to MeT officials, cloudy conditions will prevail throughout the day with the possibility of light rains after midnight.
Visibility was recorded as 400 meters at 5.30 AM which improved slightly to 600 meters at 8.30 AM, a weather official said.
As per Northern Railways, six trains were cancelled and 51 north-bound trains were delayed by several hours due to fog.
"The minimum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 9.8 degrees Celsius with the maximum temperature expected to be around 20.7 degrees Celsius," an official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled one point above the normal at 20.7 degrees while the minimum was 9.4 degrees, two notches above normal.
