Fog shrouds parts of UP

Cold day conditions were witnessed in Uttar Pradesh as moderate to dense fog shrouded several places in the state.
The MeT office said night temperature appreciably fell in Faizabad division and fell in Varanasi and Allahabad divisions.
They were appreciably above normal in Meerut division, below normal in Varanasi and Kanpur divisions and normal in the remaining divisions of the state, the MeT said.
Lowest minimum temperature in the state was 4.7 degrees Celsius recorded at Kanpur.
MeT office said the weather would be mainly dry and cold, and dense to moderate fog would occur at many places.
