The visibility was recorded at 400 metres at 5.30 AM at Safdarjung which after three hours improved to 500 metres before significantly improving to 1,500 metres at 11.30 AM.
At Palam, the visibility was 200 metres at 5.30 AM and was recorded at 300 meters at 8.30 AM. It improved to 1,000 metres at 11.30 AM, said a Met department official.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the maximum temperature settled at 23.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 23 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively," said the weatherman.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 22.5 degrees and 9.5 degrees respectively.
