The 52-year-old actor may star alongside Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace in the third installment of the hit action series, reported Deadline.
Olivier Megaton, who directed the second film will be directing the third installement as well.
Luc Besson and his writing partner Robert Mark Kamen have been tapped in for the script of the thriller.
Neeson is said to have been offered USD 20 million to reprise his role as protective dad Bryan Mills, while Grace is expected to return as his daughter.
The film may begin shooting from March.
