Forest Whitaker one of the best actors living today: Denis

Director Denis Villeneuve has praised Forest Whitaker, who stars in his upcoming film "Arrival", saying he is one of the best actors.
The sci-fi film, which also features Amy Adams and Jeremy Rener, is all set to hit theatres in India this Friday.
Whitaker plays Colonel Weber in "Arrival" and Denis said the actor has the toughest part in the movie.
"We all know he is one of the best actors living today. He is a master, and I saw that, because he had the toughest part on this movie. His character Colonel Weber was difficultly written, because he is in scenes as an obstacle, as an abrasive character," Denis said in a statement.

"He didn't have a lot of depth on the page and Forest was able to bring a gravitas, wisdom and dimension to this character in a way that I was very impressed by. It was not an easy process for Forest, there was a lot of work on set and he was very generous.
