Khan (79), who was elected from Jamshedpur West Assembly segment on the erstwhile Janata Party ticket in 1978, breathed his last at 3.40 AM this morning, his eldest son Md Essa said.
Khan is survived by two sons and a daughter.
His body will be buried in the Dhatkidih burial ground on Friday.
