Former MP Shirish Chandra Dixit dead

Former MP and Uttar Pradesh ex-DGP Shirish Chandra Dixit died today after prolonged illness at a private hospital. He was 91.
Dixit was actively involved in the Ram Temple movement and he repesented Varanasi Lok Sabha seat on BJP ticket between 1991 and 1996.
Dixit is survived by two sons and three daughters.
