Former Randstad India MD joins TVS Logistics

Supply chain solutions provider TVS Logistics has appointed E Balaji as President, People Services (Human Resources) with immediate effect.
Prior to taking up new role, he headed recruitment service provider Randstad India as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
In his new role, Balaji would be responsible for various facets of people services functions across globe for TVS Logistis Services Ltd, a company statement said.
Balaji, who has 20 years of experience in execution and leadership capabilities, would report to TVS Logistics Executive Director, S Ravichandran, it said.
"His overall experience in handling HR at various levels and his earlier role as CEO of an organisation will bring a good blend of business priorities and aligned HR practices," Ravichandran said.

Beginning his career with recruitment service provider Ma Foi Management Services in 1994, Balaji rose to become its Chief Operating Officer in 2008. In 2011, when Randstad India took over Ma Foi Management Services, Balaji was heading Randstad India as its CEO, the release added.
