Four arrested for encroachment on government land

Four persons have been arrested for allegedly encroaching the government land at New Mandi area in the city, police said.
The accuse were yesterday produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate who sent them to judicial custody.
A complaint was filed by the irrigation department against 113 persons for encroachment on the government land under New Mandi police station.
Four accused identified as Sunil, Dharamvir, Rambabu and Roshanlal have been arrested while the remaining are absconding, police said adding that efforts are on to nab other accused.
