"One car, 4 kg of drugs, two stolen motorbikes and two pistols along with cartridges were recovered from the possession of gang leader Vinod Mudgal," SP City Ashok Kumar Singh said, adding that over half dozen builders, doctors, directors of big educational institutions of Agra and Mathura were on the hit list of the gang.
In a joint operation of Swat team and Kotwali police team, the four members were nabbed near Jubilee park last night.
Singh said the gang has also taken 42 lakh as advance for eliminating Dhan Kumar Jain in 2015.
"The gang has made unsuccessful attempt to kill Dhan Kumar Jain recently, however he was saved since he had entered his vehicle in police station Hari Parvat (Agra)," Singh concluded, adding that gang was purchasing arms after selling intoxicants.
