Md Nazrul, Md Aslam, Md Hayat alias Haider and Salim Sheikh were released from the central jail on direction of the union home ministry upon completion of their prison terms, the jail officials said.
They were arrested from different places in Kishanganj district between 2008 and 2010 for entering the country without valid documents and were booked under the relevant provisions of the law, they said.
District magistrate Aditya Kumar Das said the four men would be handed over to BSF, which in turn will hand them over to Border Guard Bangladesh.
