Four booked for seeking jobs on fake documents

Jammu and Kashmir police has booked four people for furnishing fake and forged documents to seek government jobs.
"Crime Branch, Jammu has registered an FIR against Paramjeet Singh, Naseer Ahmed Jan, Shabir Ahmed Mantoo and Nazir Ahmed Bhat for seeking government jobs on fake documents," SSP, Crime, Mubassir Latifi said.
He said a complaint was received in the Crime Branch, Jammu alleging that four of the candidates selected as physical Education Teachers (PET) District cadre Reasi have produced fake qualification, date of birth and eligibility certificates.
"During the course of enquiry, it was found that Paramjeet Singh had produced a fake date of birth certificate, similarly, accused Naseer Ahmed Jan had produced a fake National Certificate of J-K Atya Patya Association, accused Shabir Ahmed Mantoo and Nazir Ahmed Bhat had produced degrees of B A procured from Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad, Lucknow which was not recognised by UGC," he said.
He said a case under various sections of the RPC was registered in Crime Branch, Jammu.
"Further investigation into the case has been taken up," Latifi said.
