Four persons were today killed after a speeding truck rammed into a stationary tractor and then hit a motorcycle in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, police said.
The incident happened on SH-74 near Pakridayal Basarat village under the jurisdiction of Sahebganj police station, the police said.
The speeding truck first hit a stationary tractor and then hit a motorcycle that was coming from the opposite direction, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Shanker Jha, said.
Locals caught the driver of the truck, beat him up and handed him over to the police, the SDPO said, adding that the locals had blocked the State Highway 74 for sometime after the incident.
