Four drown in Telangana

Four persons, including two teenagers, drowned this morning at the Pedda Cheruvu dam here when they were swept away by heavy currents, police said.
The incident took place at Gagillapoor village of Maddur mandal, about 90 km from the district headquarters when the victims, who had come from Hyderabad, entered the waters for a swim., they said.
The deceased were identified as Bala Pochaiah (42), Narasimha (40), Praveen (17) and Madhu (14), police said.
Their bodies were fished out by police with the help of villagers.
