The case was registered at the Chandausi police station yesterday on a complaint filed by the mother of the two youths.
According to Devi, her two sons Sunil and Rohit were picked up from their residence by the Government Railway Police personnel on September 18 and were severely beaten up, police said.
The youths were released on September 24 after they were threatened with dire consequences, Devi alleged, adding when her sons returned they were in bad shape and not able to move.
Earlier, SO Madhup Singh had lodged a report at Chandausi police station in connection with the theft of a revolver from his residence, after which the Superintendent of Police, GRP had suspended him for laxity.
