Four killed after tree falls on autorickshaw

Four passengers of an autorickshaw were killed when a tree fell on the vehicle amid thundershowers in the district, police said today.
The victims were on way to Raver tehsil in the district last evening when the rains suddenly occurred coupled with lightning.
Amid the rough weather, the autorickshaw driver halted the vehicle for sometime while passing through Burhanpur road.
As they were waiting for the weather to clear up, a Neem tree suddenly collapsed on the autorickshaw, killing four of its occupants, Nimbhora police said.
Around eight passengers of the three-wheeler also sustained minor injuries in the incident, police said.

The deceased were identified as - Mohd Faizal Mohd Azgar (24), Irfan Shaikh Riyaz (27), Mohd Azhar Mohd Azgar (23) and Asin Khan Javed Khan (22), all residents of Raver in Jalgaon.
A case has been registered in connection with the incident, police added.
