Four killed as bus hits 2 motorcycles

Four persons riding on two separate motorcycles were today killed after being mowed down by a bus on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway near Dukkar Khind in the district, police said.
The incident took place at 7.30 AM when 30-year-old bus driver Sahdev Dnyanoba Shinde lost control over the vehicle, an official attached with Warje police station said.
The deceased have been identified as Sarang Kale (22), Shankar Tanaji Didkar (25), Vinod Bharathi (25) and Chandrakant Jadhav (22).
The driver has been arrested and a case under relevant sections of IPC and Motor Vehicles Act registered, police said, adding investigations are underway.
