Four passengers were killed and around 20 others injured when the private bus they were travelling in rammed into a truck parked on the roadside in Kuhi taluka in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, police said Monday.
The driver of the private bus could not see the truck in darkness on Sunday night as its tail lights were switched off, a police official said.
The deceased are identified as Shankar Kevat (45), Pramila Kevat (45), both residents of Nagpur, Sonu Thakre (31), and Kartik Gongal (35), who was driving the bus, he said, adding that around 20 other passengers sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Further investigation is going on, he said.
