Four killed due to electrocution in J&K

Four people were killed due to electrocution in separate incidents here, police said today.
30-year-old Kuldeep and 25-year-old Lakhan were electrocuted due to short circuit at a house in Shiva belt of Doda district last night, Police said today.
They were taken to hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead, they said, adding the duo touched a live wire during a repair work.
The bodies were handed over to the families for last rites, they said.
In another such incident, 42-year-old Makhan Lal of Chak Dessa area in Kathua was electrocuted due to a faulty water pump, they said, adding the body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
Meanwhile, 46-year-old Preetam Singh touch a live wire while cutting a branch of a tree and was electrocuted near the Sangaldan belt of Reasi district last evening, they said.
