Four minors drown

Four minor children
including three girls got drowned in a village pond in Chapra district of Bihar today, the police said.
The incident occurred at Baidyanathpur Chaubey Tola village under Bheldi police station in the district.
Bheldi Station House Officer Sanjay Kumar Gupta said the four, all of whom were from adjoining areas, had gone to take bath this afternoon and ventured towards the deeper part of the pond and got drowned.
The four were identified as Laguni Kumari (10), Jayanti Kumari (14), Rimpa Kumari (17) and Manager Rai (17).
"We are in the process of taking out the bodies," added the SHO.
