DMCH superintendent Santosh Kumar Mishra said four patients - Bhola Sah (72), Rani Devi (35), Champa Devi (65) and Shabnam Khatun (40), perished between six and nine am when there was no oxygen supply after attendant Amlesh Prasad, who is in charge of supply of oxygen at the ICU, left for home before the arrival of his reliever.
Two other attendants, put on roster duty, also turned up late, he said.
While Amlesh Prasad was suspended, the other two employees were show-caused for late coming, Mishra said.
