The car got entangled with the engine of the Gaya-bound train and was dragged along the tracks.
The accident took place at 8.55 AM at an unauthorised crossing through which vehicles and pedestrians cross the railway tracks in between Warsaliganj and Nawada, Chief Public Relation Officer(CPRO) Arvind Kumar Rajak saod.
The spot where the accident took place is 55 km from Patna and falls under Mugalsarai division of East Central railway zone, the officer said.
Rajak said it was an unauthorised crossing and no warning signs which are otherwise present at railway crossings were there.
