Franke Faber India appoints Puneet Gupta as MD

Kitchen appliance player Franke Faber India today announced the appointment of Puneet Gupta as its Managing Director.
A company statement said, Gupta has joined Franke Asia this month and will assume the charge as the Managing Director of Franke Faber India, succeeding Xavier Carlier, effective December 1, 2015.
There will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition, it added.
Gupta has held various management positions at Whirlpool India for 11 years, where he recently worked as Vice President Sales, and earlier to this he was with Nerolac for 11 years.
The company also hopes to grow and expand the nascent kitchen appliance industry and double the turnover in the next 4 years.

Gupta will become a member of the Global Leadership Team (GLT) and report to John Yen, President Franke Kitchen Systems Asia, Shanghai, it added.
