Transporters said, besides restricted cargo movements, huge position of trucks in the markets, mainly led to fall in select centres freight rates.
Delhi to Goa, Indore and Vijaywada freight rates moved down by Rs.1000 each to Rs.47,000, Rs.18,000 and Rs.55,000.
Rates to Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Ahmedabad also eased by Rs.1,000 each to Rs.72,000, Rs.76,000 and Rs.19,000.
