Transporters said besides pick up in cargo movements, tight availability of trucks pushed up freight rates.
Delhi to Hyderabad Puducherry and Kochi freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 56,000, Rs 66,000 and Rs 72,000.
Rates to Goa, Guwahati and Mumbai freight rates also went up by Rs 1000 each to Rs 58,000, Rs 60,000 and Rs 27,000.
