French delegation interactive session with officials,ind'lists

: A 31 member French delegation of experts in urban and infrastructure development, manufacturing sector, urban transport, smart cities and solar projects today held interactive session with officials and other stake holders at a meeting organised by the government here today.
French Ambassador to India Francois Richier and French Consul General in Puducherry Philippe Janvier Kamiyama, Member of Parliament R.Radhakrishnan, Chief Secretary Manoj Parida and Secretaries were among those who addressed participants.
A release from Directorate of Information and Publicity said the meeting brought to the fore the potential and opportunities available here for investments. The highlights of Puducherry, a former French colony, high social parameters and index, infrastructure projects, present facilities and the initiative in smart city mission, skill development and also tourism promotion activities were presented.

The delegation was on a visit to Puducherry in response to the invitation of the Chief Minister,it said, adding the CM had expressed his keenness for French investment in Puducherry.
