A 75-year-old French tourist died after coming under the wheels of a tourist bus here today, police said.
Sabine Laras had stepped outside the bus for clicking photographs near Kapleshwar crossing under Pushkar police station area. She apparently slipped and came under the wheels when the bus moved, Assistant Sub-Inspector Shrawan Kumar said.
The victim along with other tourists were travelling to Pushkar, he said.
She was rushed to a hospital and died during treatment, police said.
The tourist was travelling alone to the country, Kumar said.
A case was registered against bus driver Palvinder Singh. He has been detained, the officer said, adding the vehicle has been confiscated.
