Addressing Congress workers on the conclusion of 'Modi Ke Bol Jumlon Dhol', a statewide programme launched on April 7 to "highlight the failures" of the Modi government, he said his government has launched schemes for all-round development of Himachal Pradesh and praised the successive Congress-led governments for making the state a model of development.
"The state government has launched schemes for the welfare of each section of the society and fulfilled all the poll promises," Singh claimed.
State Congress president Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu criticised the Narendra Modi government for not fulfilling the "promise" of hiking import duty on apples and said that apple growers in the state were suffering losses due to this.
Lashing out at Modi, Sukhu said , "Modiahaead of the Lok Sabha election had promised to work for the development of the state. However, after coming to power, he seems to have forgotten the promises like solving the problem of unemployment and bringing "achhe din"(good days)."
