Full EC bench arrives to review poll-preparedness in Bengal
"We are here to undertake review of some poll-preparedness," Zaidi, who is leading the poll panel, told reporters at the NSC Bose International Airport on their arrival here from Delhi.
State's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sunil Gupta received Zaidi, who was accompanied by the two Election Commissioners A K Joti and O P Rawat, at the airport.
The three-member poll panel would hold a series of review meetings tomorrow with political parties, senior government officials and district administrations before initiating measures for the state's assembly election due next year, the CEO's office said here.
