Cricketer Gautam Gambhir today sought votes for senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley who is contesting the Lok Sabha election from Amritsar.
As part of the campaign, the left-handed batsman attended a roadshow in the city.
Gambhir urged the electorate to vote for Jaitley who, he said, is a "good administrator and very nice human being".
He said the BJP leader will make efforts towards improving the sports infrastructure and will bring Amritsar on the international sports map.
Jaitley is locked in a fierce contest with former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in Amritsar.
