Gammon India Jan-Mar quarter net loss at Rs 74 crore

Gammon India today reported a net loss of Rs 73.53 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had a net loss of Rs 173.59 crore in the year-ago period, Gammon India said in a regulatory filing.
The income from operations dropped to Rs 1,019.02 crore, over Rs 1,141.20 crore in the year-ago period, it said.
Total expenses of the company reduced to Rs 969.30 crore during the quarter, from Rs 1,212.76 crore in the same quarter of previous fiscal, it added.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 19.90 apiece on BSE, up 0.51 per cent from previous close.
